Frequently asked questions
Answers for customers and masters — everything most commonly asked.
For customers
How do I book a master?
Download the UBASE app, choose a category (e.g. «Plumber»), set your address and tap «Book master». Available masters nearby see the order — the first one to respond takes it.
How much does it cost?
Prices are open before booking — see the price list for 188 jobs in the app. There is no separate fixed “call-out fee”: the platform applies a minimum order amount (typically 150 000 UZS; the live value is shown in the app). The checklist total is agreed before work starts and cannot be below that minimum.
How does payment work?
You pay the master directly — in cash or by card transfer — once the work is approved. UBASE never holds the money for the repair itself.
Who are UBASE masters?
They are independent specialists verified through MyID — Uzbekistan’s government identity system. Each has a rating and order history.
What if the work is done poorly?
Leave a rating and describe the problem in your review — ratings shape the master’s score. For a serious case, file a complaint right in the app under “Suggestions & complaints”: a person reviews it. Under the quality warranty the master must fix defects — it’s a condition of working on the platform.
Can I cancel an order?
Yes, until work begins. Once you’ve approved the checklist and work has started, cancellation isn’t possible. Frequent cancellations after the master has already arrived limit new call-outs.
What if the master doesn’t arrive?
If the master cancels the order, you get a notification and repeat the call in one tap; the master who cancelled won’t be offered this order again. If no one accepts — the order closes at no charge, try again later.
Where does UBASE operate?
We’re launching in Tashkent. Regional expansion is planned.
What is the minimum order amount?
It is the floor for the approved checklist total (typically 150 000 UZS; the app shows the live amount when you book). Travel time for the master is not billed as its own fixed line — it is reflected in the minimum-order and checklist rules.
Is there a surcharge for urgency or night-time?
There are no price multipliers — neither for urgency nor for night-time. The cost is set by the service in the price list. At night (from 20:00 to 08:00, Tashkent time) the night price of the service applies, and the minimum order amount at night is 200,000 UZS (during the day, from 08:00 to 20:00 — 150,000 UZS). The applicable price and minimum are always shown before you confirm the order.
How many orders can I create at once?
Up to 3 parallel orders in different categories. For example: plumber, electrician and painter simultaneously.
What if the price exceeds my expectation?
The master shows the checklist before starting. If the total doesn’t suit you — don’t approve it and cancel the order: there’s nothing to pay for work that hasn’t started.
For masters
How much does UBASE take per order?
You pay for the platform with order packages: buy a package in advance; the price per order depends on the chosen package and is visible before purchase. It’s not a percentage — it doesn’t depend on the repair amount. An order is deducted from the package after the customer approves the entire checklist.
What does «first order free» mean?
Your first order as a master needs no package and no payment. It’s a trial period so you can evaluate the platform.
How and where do I receive payment for the work?
The customer pays you directly — in cash or by card transfer. UBASE never holds money for the repair itself.
What is an order package?
A package is the number of orders you can accept. When you accept an order, one order from the package is reserved; it’s deducted when the customer approves the entire checklist, and returned to the package on cancellation. No money moves at these steps — buying a package is a separate operation.
How many orders do I need to go on shift?
At least one available order in your package (or the free first one). When your available orders run out, the shift ends by itself — buy a package and continue.
What happens if I cancel an order?
No monetary fine — the reserved order returns to your package. But cancelling through your own fault counts toward your reliability: for a while, orders are offered to you last among equally close masters.
Who pays the taxes?
You do, as a self-employed person or sole proprietor. UBASE is an information intermediary — not an employer or tax agent.
Can I work in several categories?
Yes. During registration you choose all categories you work in.
How do I configure the categories I work in?
In the app profile, section «My categories». Editable at any time.
How does the customer find me?
They don’t. UBASE automatically sends you a notification when an order in your category appears nearby and your shift is on.
Can I decline an order?
Yes, within 30 seconds of receiving the notification. If you don’t respond — the offer disappears, and the order stays available to other masters nearby.
Can I get a refund for unused orders in my package?
The unused remainder is refunded if the platform terminates your access or you delete your account — arranged through support. Used orders and the free trial order aren’t refundable.
